[15 Aug 2005|05:39pm] If you already hold a learner’s permit and want another one, you must reapply as if it was your first learner’s permit and bring your proof of age, identity, Maryland residence and your expiring learner’s permit. Translation: Six more months of bumming rides because I let my permit expire. I'm really bummed. This could potentially ruin my senior year, or at least contribute to a less-than-perfect year. No driving until Febuary. Thats a long time for me to bum rides, and have my parents drive me to work, and to be unable to leave my home to go anywhere outside of walking distance alone. I really just want to be able to go get myself a sandwich, or go somewhere I would like to go alone. I would really love that small sense of independence. I'm heartbroken at the idea of having to wait so long again. On a happier note, I do not look like Snape in my new learners permit. and I find out if I have been hired at American Eagle by Friday. Despite having no idea if I even want to anymore, or if I will have any way to get to and from work if I am hired. yucgh. 2 C is for comment.

[28 Jun 2005|06:16pm] In London, on my sisters computer. My wallet was stolen in the airport with my ATM and 400 dollars, Or I may have left it at home. My parents can't find it though. A bad start but I guess it just means I will be a conservative spender and work a bunch when I come home again. Dont expect any presents, loves. Except for the newspaper. I think it could be good for me, less shopping more museuming and such. I miss Matthew already because I am a silly girl. Oh, And the whole hippie boho trend is just too much, long skirts and sandals on the underground is a bad idea. No joke. Home on thursday evening. I worked with Uniqlo today preparing for their trade show and opening their winter stock and dressing mannequins(sp?please?). They paid me 30 pounds. Bank. 6 C is for comment.

[22 Jan 2005|01:20pm] Being nice is the new being mean. It's trendy, I swear. And we know that we all like to follow trends. Let's go. Honestly, we can all tell the truth and still be friendly. Wouldn't you rather wear sweaters than boxing gloves? Snow storms are beautiful. But I wish they didn't get in everyone's way. I wish I had someone stranded here with me, like Wednesday. Oh, and I want to start a band. But...just a chorus, and a keyboard. and cymbals. Maybe one big drum. I'll sing and play the cymbals. No one around here likes voices as instruments. They treat them like additions to the band. Your band will fail if the guitarist can't play guitar, but it's okay if your singer can't play their voice. I don't like how that works. Join the choir. It can have as many members as wish to join. And if you play keyboard, it'd be appreciated. Or the piano. Regular piano might be nicer. I havent really worked it out. I just want a bunch of people who will sing loudly. and some cymbals crashing. We'll work something out. 19 C is for comment.

[28 Nov 2004|08:14pm] july august september october november A wonderfully long time. I learned to embroider and now I embroider at work. I like to work quite a bit. It makes me feel like I'm using my time properly. (and paychecks arent so bad either) Auditions are this week. I have a feeling that rehersals until 5 and work that starts at 5 will become a problem. I just want to get through auditions before I even think about it. I cant hit the same notes I used to hit. I wish I could sing a Joanna Newsome for auditions.
